I grew up participating in both team and individual sports, everything from soccer to track to martial arts. I loved participating and pushing myself to be better, but outside of martial arts, I never found anything that fit my personality.
Then I found CrossFit.
Seven years later I'm in the best shape of my life without any sign of that trend changing. I've learned a lot about myself through CrossFit and have thoroughly enjoyed the time and effort I've put in. There are few things in life where you get back exactly what you put in, but CrossFit is one of those things.
CrossFit has shown me that I have a passion for wellness - including exercise and nutrition - and that I have a skill at conveying my knowledge to others. I'm on a never-ending quest for information and I'll happily share it with anyone, as those who have asked why I usually work out barefoot can attest to. :)
